Tampa requests that outdoor watering stop
TAMPA -- Citing Thursday's rainfall and a wet weekend forecast, the city's water officials are asking residents this morning to stop all outdoor watering during the next several days.
A city ordinance would allow residents to water on Sunday and Tuesday, depending on their address, but holding off could net an aggregate saving of as many as 30 million gallons of water, officials said.

I don't think this is as much a homeowner problem as a neighborhood problem. Driving home the other night, the sprinklers were on in my neighborhood WHILE it was raining! And then nearby my neighborhood on Friday night, a shopping plaza had their sprinklers on too!

What a bunch of what ever. There is plenty of water all around us. The just let it flow into the Gulf. They haven't even tapped the Weeki Watchee river. Our underwater river has more water in it then the Great Lakes. If your water bill is ten dollars Swift mud gets ten dollars to do nothing.
On top of that Sift mud gets on our property taxe roll. If they were so hard up for money to get us water why did Swift mud give Mosi 10 million.

OOps maybe it was one million!
The fact is there is plenty of water out there. All this water is going to the Gulf. Why can it go to my sick first? The reclaim water in our area goes right pass our house into Boca Ciega Bay. Why, Ask St. Pete.Seems the pipe they laid is not made to be cut into. So no one in our area can get reclain water.

It's prettier over here in Pinellas County than it is on your side of the bridge. Nobody really cares how your lawn looks. Hillsborough County can have brown dead lawns in their ugly dirty city because the money birds (AKA snow birds) are flocking to the beaches in beautiful Pinellas, not slumming in Tampa. Strip joints on Dale Mabry & hookers on Nebraska is pretty much all people go over there for anyway, and you having a nice lawn or not really doesn't matter to those people.
