Deputies search for Brandon robbery suspects

BRANDON -- Deputies are looking for two young men who robbed a convenience store in Brandon on Thursday night.

At about 8:50 p.m., two men went into the Quick Pick Food Mart at 513 Limona Road. One man held up a silver gun and demanded money while the second man held the door open, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The man with the gun fired two rounds at a cigarette shelf, but no one was hurt, the sheriff’s office reported.

The men got an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled on foot, according to the report.
