Six injured in Wimauma crash

WIMAUMA -- Six people were injured in a two-vehicle crash early Saturday afternoon, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office spokesman J.D. Callaway said.

A toddler and a pregnant woman were airlifted to Tampa General Hospital, he said. The accident occurred at about 1:20 p.m.at the intersection of Bishop Road and West Lake Drive in Wimauma.

None of the injuries were life-threatening, Callaway said.
