Death investigated after woman find's husband's body

CLEARWATER -- Accompanied by friends, a woman returning home found her husband's body in the couple's apartment Thursday, police said.

Police said Laura Campus and some friends arrived at the Town Place Apartments, 2545 NE Coachman Road, just after 9:30 p.m. and found Laura's husband, 30-year-old Joel W. Campus, dead and called 911.

Police haven't said how Campus died, but they said a death investigation is under way. Few other details were available early Friday.
