Dethroned Pinellas beauty queen arrested in Vegas
Katherine "Katie'' Rees, 23, grew up in Pinellas County, moving up the beauty queen circuit.
She is a former Junior Miss Largo and Florida Tiny Miss. But in 2006, Rees was dethroned as Miss Nevada USA after racy photos of her appeared on the Internet.
Now, Rees is making a few more embarrassing headlines.
The Associated Press reports that Rees was held for about 12 hours at the Clark County Jail after police stopped her while driving about 3 a.m. Wednesday. They say she became physically aggressive toward a Las Vegas police officer. (The booking photo from Las Vegas Police is on the far right)
Her attorney in Tampa, Mario Torres, denies she was aggressive, saying: "They used aggression against her.'' He said she chipped or lost a tooth in the incident.
Rees was charged with speeding, driving with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with suspended license plates, failure to produce proof of insurance and resisting a police officer.
The Miss Universe Organization and co-owner Donald Trump dethroned Rees in December 2006 after photos appeared of her kissing other women, showing her breasts and displaying her thong underwear.
At a press conference in Clearwater after she was disgraced, with her parents by her side, Rees said: "This incident does not reflect who I am or who I plan to be.'' (Photo from press conference by Martha Rial | Times)

Well seems she has some real good makeup artists that clean her up
Damn drugs and drinking tear em down quickly she looks like the sierra woman a few months ago looks good for a bit then damn some one smacksem with the ugly stick and poof they are gonnnnneeee !!!!!!!!!!!!and another comment said it right 15 minutes of fame and NEXT!!!!!!!!!!
