Man fatally shot in St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG -- A 37-year-old man was shot and killed this afternoon at 4445 17th Ave. S, police said. Police said the man probably was slain about 12:45 p.m., but nobody called to report the shooting until 1:10 p..m. Police identified the victim as Keith W. Sovey and are still at the crime scene.
