Police respond to fight at Baypoint Middle

St. Petersburg Police officers responded to a fight this afternoon at Bay Point Middle School.

A small group of students got into a fight in the cafeteria during lunch, said Pinellas County Schools spokeswoman Andrea Zahn. She didn't know whether students were injured or if any disciplinary action has been taken.

The school will investigate the fight, she said.

Police said no one was seriously hurt and no one was arrested.
