St. Petersburg police investigating armed robbery

ST. PETERSBURG -- Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place in a Wal-Mart parking lot about 9:30 Tuesday night. Initial reports indicated there were no injuries.

Two men, armed with a handgun, grabbed a woman's purse and fled on foot, police say. It happened at 3501 34th St. S.

Investigators were searching for the suspects with police dogs.
