Traffic jams again on I-275 northbound tonight

The left lane of northbound Interstate 275 near downtown Tampa will be closed through the night to fix potholes, the state Department of Transportation announced.

The lane, between N Boulevard and the Hillsborough River, is expected to reopen by dawn, officials said.

The closure is prompted by "rapidly developing potholes near the roadway shoulder,'' DOT said.

It took me 2 hours 15 minutes to drive 31 miles from Clearwater to Riverview. Just another reminder of why I absolutely despise driving to Tampa.
