Police identify body found in Clearwater motel

Update: Police identified the deceased as Charles Edward Harris, 44, of 915 Nicholson St., Clearwater. An autopsy is scheduled for 9 a.m. this morning. Police have labeled Harris' death as suspicious.

Clearwater police are investigating a body found Monday afternoon at the Clearwater Palms Motel, 1735 Gulf to Bay Blvd. The deceased was found in room 106. Detectives are on the scene but have not released any details. Check back here for updates.
