ST. PETERSBURG -- Descriptions have emerged of the suspects who stole two urns from a mausoleum last month, authorities said.

Urn1_5 The suspects are described as a thin-built white male, about 5 feet 11 inches tall with short curly blond hair; and a black male about 5 feet 5 inches tall with twisted hair. The white male was wearing a blue tank top, khaki shorts and carrying a backpack. Both men are in their late teens, according to St. Petersburg police reports.

The teens allegedly broke into the Palm Cemetery at 101 55th St. S and stole two urns (pictured above and left) containing human remains from a mausoleum on the property. The suspects also vandalized the outside of the building by removing two bronze plaques and flower containers.

St. Petersburg burglary detectives ask anyone with information to call (727) 893-7254.
