CLEARWATER -- After accompanying his son and grandson while they played nine holes of golf, deputies said an elderly man went missing Monday, moments before he was supposed to join his visiting family for a clubhouse lunch.

Pinellas sheriff's deputies said that Joseph Henrici, 87, was last seen at the clubhouse at Innisbrook Island Golf Clubhouse, 36750 U.S. 19 N in Palm Harbor, around 12:30 p.m. Investigators believe he may have driven away.

Henrici is white, about 5 feet 8 and weighs about 170 pounds. He has hazel eyes and gray hair with a receding hair line. Deputies said he was last seen wearing a tan golf cap, eyeglasses, a dark-colored windbreaker, tan pants and brown loafers.

Investigators say that Henrici may be driving his silver,  2001, four-door BMW with Florida license plate P408JA.

Deputies ask that anyone with information call the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office at (727) 582-6200.
