The southbound lanes of Interstate 275 near 54th Avenue N in St. Petersburg are backed up as construction crews make scheduled repairs to an overpass.

Drivers traveling south on I-275 have to exit at 54th Avenue, cross the street and enter it again from the on-ramp. Drivers who use the on-ramp to southbound I-275 from westbound 54th Avenue are detoured to the 38th Avenue N entrance to the interstate.

The detours will be effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly until April 3. Crews are repairing damage done in December when a dump truck struck the overpass.
