Largo: Arrest made in fatal accident

LARGO -- A 45-year-old St. Petersburg woman was arrested on a vehicular homicide charge Monday in connection with an accident last September in which she struck and killed a pedestrian.

Jane E. LaMarre, of 850 Village Lake Terrace, Unit 202, struck and killed Guy Robert Mock, whose age was not available, at Ulmerton Road and 38th Street N, the Florida Highway Patrol found. The FHP investigation found that LaMarre was travelling at a high rate of speed in the right turn lane of Ulmerton Road when she struck Mock, who was using a crosswalk.
