Photo

LARGO -- Police want information about the man who robbed a Walgreens about 6 a.m. today at 2295 East Bay Drive. [Watch video]

The man is described as white, about 5 feet 9 inches and about 220 pounds with black medium-length hair. He was wearing khaki pants, a multicolored tie and a heavy black coat. He walked to the back of the store, pulled out a gun and demanded the drug Oxycontin.

After obtaining "a substantial amount" of the drug, the man left the store and escaped in a white 2006 or 2007 Honda Accord with a Florida license plate.

Largo Police ask anyone with information about this case to call Detective Keith Barton at (727) 587-6728 or (727) 587-6730.
