Police: Pinellas Park woman shot sitting in car in St. Petersburg
ST. PETERSBURG -- A 30-year-old Pinellas Park woman was shot and killed while sitting in a car about 5 a.m., police said.
A gunman outside the car shot Jamilyn Baker in the 1800 block of 21st Street S, police said. The driver took Baker to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Few other details have been released. Baker's death was the second homicide in six hours that St. Petersburg Police are investigating. Late Wednesday, police said Perry Lee Daniels, 38, was shot and killed by his brother in the driveway of their Coquina Key home.
