Police seek woman in three bank robberies

TAMPA -- Police are searching for a woman they think robbed three banks, one in Tampa and two in Temple Terrace. One was caught on tape.

The suspect is described as black, mid to late 20s, thin, 5 feet 5 and 120 pounds, last seen wearing sunglasses, dark blue jeans, a black tank top, a dark baseball cap and short hair.

Police say she entered Bank Atlantic at 2009 E Fowler Ave. today about noon through the front door, approached a teller and handed a note demanding money. She then took an undisclosed amount of money and left through the rear door. No one was injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call (813) 276-3200.
