St. Pete Beach: No criminal charge in attack on DJ

ST. PETE BEACH -- Police say they do not plan to file any criminal charges in connection with an attack on local radio station DJ "Marvelous Marvin" Boone.

Boone, 52, the midday DJ on Q105 FM, said he was punched twice as he returned to a parking lot in the Dolphin Beach Resort after unloading his equipment for a wedding reception he was hired to work.

St. Pete Beach police say the attacker targeted Boone but is not being charged because Boone asked that no charges be filed.
