Athletes, officers join forces for Special Olympics Torch Run

Special Olympics athletes and officers from several local law enforcement agencies will participate in today's torch relay run.

The relay begins at 8 a.m. the St. Petersburg Police Department headquarters and continues weaving through Pinellas County and over the Bayside Bridge until the route ends at the Paul B. Stephens Exceptional Student Center in Clearwater at 1:15 p.m. Here's a look at today's route:
