School bus driver hurt as two buses collide in Dunedin

DUNEDIN -- A school bus driver complained of a minor injury after two buses collided at County Road 1 and Michigan Boulevard this afternoon.

Three children were aboard one bus and eight were on the other, but none of the students were injured, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

The school bus driver who was hurt was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital for treatment.

Northbound traffic on County Road 1 is closed while the scene is being cleared. Check tampabay.com for updates.
