Two dead in Dade City shooting
DADE CITY -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating an apparent double homicide that occurred Friday night near Porter Street and Hutchinson Street in the Tommy Town area of Dade City, according to spokesman Doug Tobin.
When deputies arrived around 10 p.m., they found two Hispanic men with gunshot wounds in the street.
Deputies were told that a vehicle pulled into the parking lot of the convenience store about the time of the double homicide, and skidded to a stop, nearly hitting the front of the store. Individuals inside the car then left the scene, Tobin said.
The case is being treated as a double homicide, he said.
