After reading the article about Exon-Mobil profits of over 11 billion dollars for the last quarter I must admit that I am looking for my "sign" you know, like Bill Engvall says "here's your sign"!!. I can't understand how it is that we as a nation of hard working trying to gey ahead folks can pull up to a pump and pay the outrageous amount of money to put fuel in our vehicles to get to work, take our kids to school grocercy shop etc, have no extra money at the end of the week and then read the article about over 11 billion dollars in profit to just one oil company in just three months?!! Well along with providing us with a "sign when we pull up to the pump to fuel up, may I suggest that those birdbrains that are the ceo's of such large oil companies as Exxon-Mobil that they all hang a large containor of vasaline out there next to the pumps for all of us gullible patrons to use in the attempt to ease the pain as they stick it to us!! I just can't believe that in a country where many folks have given their lives for freedom and where people have had faith in our constitution and what it stands for have to become dominant slaves to the rich and powerful to control our lives because of pure greed on their part. Gee, I'm curious-what is the salary of these top executives of Exxon-Mobil? Are they concerned about how much fuel is? Ask an independent trucker what their thoughts are about the price of fuel! It has become a really sad America where instead of concentrating on our own home front and all the people that are going broke, losing their homes and jobs with no assistance for health-care and beyond and then look at these folks that rake in the big bucks while sitting in their "Ivory Towers" and looking down on us with those big ol' cigars dangling from their mouths and smiling because they could care less about us "little people". Well to those folks I say "here's your sign" because the american people will keep the faith no matter what you may do to discougage us but please use some of that hard earned money you poor ceo's make and supply us with the vasaline at the pumps that we all evidently deserve. I doubt that the editor will have the kahunas to print this but it sure felt good to me to write it!!
