Tired of mom, teen says he was "going to kill her"

DADE CITY -- An argument between mother and son escalated into threats that the 17-year-old "was going to kill her," according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report. Mom is eight months pregnant.

The teen, whose identity is being withheld by the St. Petersburg Times because of his age, was arrested Saturday night on a charge of domestic aggravated assault and was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center. The mother was not identified in the report.

According to the report, an argument turned to threats around 6:30 p.m. The mother tried to get inside a vehicle while being threatened by her son, the report said. The teen, though, tried to pull her out. But she managed to close the door and he walked away.

The teen reiterated his threat to deputies, according to their report, and told them that he was "tired of her telling him what to do."
