RIVERVIEW -- Sheriff's deputies are searching for two men they say robbed a RaceTrac early Tuesday morning.

The incident happened at 12:15 a.m. at 10311 Bloomingdale Ave. when the two suspects entered the business and implied that they had a gun. One of the men held the clerk down on the front counter, forcing him to open the cash register. The other then grabbed a load of money. The two fled east on Bloomingdale Avenue in a black four-door car with a Florida State University tag.

The suspects are both described as being in their 20s.

One is said to be a Hispanic male, about 200 to 220 pounds, with a medium build. He is bald, has a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a black pull-over T-shirt, frayed black shorts and black Nike tennis shoes with white trim.

The other is about 5 feet 9, 140 pounds with a thin build, black hair and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing light-colored long shorts, a black tank top and had a white shirt covering his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-873-8477.
