Nick Bollea transferred from solitary cell
Nick Bollea has been moved from his solitary cell to one he is sharing with three other juveniles, Pinellas sheriff's officials announced this afternoon.
The decision was routine, sheriff's officials said, and apparently unrelated to Bollea's request to be transferred, which a judge rejected earlier this week. It was "the result of routine and ongoing assessments of inmate population and classification; and the opportunity to house those juveniles who have been sentenced as adults to county time,'' according to a sheriff's office statement.
