A Tampa man was shot in the face about 3 p.m. Wednesday while standing outside Nuccio Park, authorities said. The victim, 19-year-old Jamar Boldware, was hit in the face just below the left eye, said Hillsborough sheriff’s Detective Phil Raschiatore. Boldware was taken to Tampa General Hospital and his wound was not life threatening, Raschiatore said. One bystander, 20-year-old Tony Brown, said he and friends were talking outside the park’s gate when a car drove up and several shots rang out. “I heard the first one, and I saw the second one chip the tree, and then we all just started running into the rec center,’’ he said.
