Missing Brandon man found unhurt

TAMPA -- A mentally challenged man who went missing Saturday has been found safe about 10 miles from his Brandon home.

A passing motorist saw Cephas Wilson, 52, at U.S. Highway 301 and Big Bend Road in Riverview on Monday morning and called deputies, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. Wilson appeared to be unhurt, a spokeswoman said.

Wilson had last been seen early Saturday at his residence at the Brookside Manor Apartments at 3401 Magenta Way. He had wandered away from home in the past, according to deputies.
