Body found behind Clearwater car rental business

UPDATE: Clearwater police have identified the victim as Jack LaGrand, 50, who lived in the Chesapeake apartment complex in Clearwater.
 
CLEARWATER -- Police say the body found in a cab behind a Clearwater strip mall early this morning has sparked a homicide investigation.

The man, who police said was in his 50s, was found shot to death inside a Yellow Cab in the parking lot behind 25706 N U.S. 19 at about 7:30 a.m. by a business owner who worked in the strip. Police have not released the identity of the dead man.
