'Screaming orgasm' porn on commission agenda

BROOKSVILLE - Here's something you don't typically find printed in the agenda packet for a county commissioner: porn. Oh, and a link to a Web site that features a "screaming orgasm" contest.

It all involves the fourth annual Old School Biker Rodeo, an event held in eastern Hernando County that features gratuitous female nudity, pole dancing and, well, charity. The event says it has raised $30,000 to date for a local Marine Corps League and VFW post.

Hernando County officials sent copies of graphic photos of the event - taken from a magazine Web site - to commissioners to review as part of a permit request for the event, which is held on private property. The county granted the group a permit in 2007, but after seeing the Web site, denied it for the upcoming Oct. 30 to Nov. 1 event. Event host Jimmy Batten, who once ran for the commission and hosted celebrities Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie for the show Simple Life 2, appealed. You can find the commission agenda here. The meeting is 9 a.m. Tuesday.
