Linda Bollea, on way to see son, gets speeding ticket

Linda Bollea, the soon to be ex-wife of wrestler Hulk Hogan, was given a traffic ticket for speeding today as she drove to visit her son, deputies said.

A Pinellas County sheriff's deputy clocked her white Cadillac Escalade at 71 mph in a 55-mph zone at 2:52 p.m. She was traveling on the Bayside Bridge, said Sgt. Jim Bordner, Sheriff's Office spokesman.

Bollea was cooperative with the deputy and received a $206 citation, Bordner said. She told the deputy she was going to visit her son.

Nick Bollea, 18, is serving an eight-month sentence in the Pinellas County Jail after pleading no contest to a felony charge of reckless driving. He is expected to be released early on Oct. 21 for good behavior and time served.
