Obama blasts McCain attacks, says economic policies need to change
TAMPA -- As tiny American flags waved throughout the crowd and chants of "Yes we can!" rang out, Barack Obama said an economic solution needs to come from the bottom up.
He blasted John McCain's negative advertising, saying the McCain campaign is "out of touch," and "running out of time." He said McCain's plan of buying up bad mortgages would be bad for the majority of America.
"We need a rescue plan for the middle class," Obama said. "That's why I'm running for president."
He said he wants to impose a three-month moratorium on home foreclosures once he's president. Someone in the crowd screamed, "Thank you!"
