Obama: Change not a pie-in-the-sky idea
TAMPA -- Barack Obama told supporters at a Monday rally about a recent visit to Ohio. He was hungry, he said. He yearned for a slice of pie.
So residents pointed him to a small restaurant where they said he could find the town's best. Little did he know, the pie joint's owner was "a diehard Republican."
"Well how's business?" Obama recalled asking the owner. "Not so good," he said the man replied.
"Maybe it's time for a change," Obama said, as the George M. Steinbrenner Field crowd laughed and clapped. "If you've been hitting your head against a wall, and it starts to hurt, do you stop?"
