Machete-wielding woman jailed on Thanksgiving

Jenkins_annette1 TAMPA -- For one Tampa woman, Thanksgiving night was occupied with death threats, machete-brandishing and a trip to jail.

Annette Jenkins, 46, of 401 E Columbus Drive, (pictured) apparently wasn't happy when her brother invited someone over at 10:25 p.m. When the unidentified woman entered Jenkins' home, Jenkins armed herself with a machete, stating, "If you don't get out, I'll kill you." according to an arrest affidavit.

Jenkins was charged with aggravated assault and taken to the Hillsborough County Jail, where she remains on bail of $2,000.
