Men fire guns in credit union robbery
PINELLAS PARK -- Two men fired handguns several times as they robbed a credit union Friday evening, but no one was injured.
About 6 p.m., two armed men ran into the Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union at 10597 U.S. 19, fired their silver guns and jumped into the teller area. They stole cash and took off in a waiting vehicle, Pinellas Park police said.
Police described the men this way:
The first suspect is a 5'8" to 6' tall black man in his 20s who wore white sneakers and black clothing that covered his arms and legs. He had a black hat with red stitching on the brim and a white bandanna over his face. His shirt had an Egyptian symbol resembling a pharaoh on the font.
The second suspect also is a black man in his 20s. He wore a baggy white polo long-sleeve shirt with thin horizontal black stripes. He also wore dark pants and blue sneakers with white trim. He used a black and white bandanna to cover his face.
