Pair sought in afternoon bank robbery

TAMPA -- Deputies say a man and woman were in cahoots in the robbery of an American Momentum Bank on Wednesday afternoon.

Rob2 According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, a woman (pictured at right) entered the bank at 15150 N Florida Ave. shortly after 10 a.m. and left. Forty-five minutes later, a masked man went into the bank with his hand under his shirt to imply he had a gun and demanded money.

Truck Witnesses told deputies the man got away in a four-door silver Nissan Frontier pickup, similar to the one pictured, model year 2004 to 2007, with chrome tie bars on the truck bed. Authorities said the woman was driving.

If you have any information about the crime, call the Sheriff’s Office at (813) 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477.
