Brandon taco restaurant robbed at gunpoint

Maza_justin1 BRANDON -- A Tijuana Flats restaurant on Causeway Boulevard was robbed at gunpoint by a 19-year-old Brandon man Wednesday night, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Around 11 p.m., Justin Maza (left), of 914 Delany Circle, approached someone outside the restaurant, according to an arrest affidavit. Maza allegedly pointed a gun at the person, ordered him back inside, and then held four other people inside the store at gunpoint and demanded money. He then reportedly ran from the scene. Deputies arrested Maza at his home around 1 a.m. today.

Maza is charged with armed robbery, armed kidnapping, four counts of false imprisonment and four counts of aggravated assault. He was taken to the Hillsborough County Jail, where he remains without bail.
