Busy night at SideBern's: allegations of sex in a restroom, a fight, an arrest
TAMPA -- Police say that allegations of sex in the women's restroom at SideBern's, one of Tampa's priciest restaurants, prompted a rolling fistfight and, later in the parking lot, the arrest of a lawyer who tried too hard to get involved.
According to the police report, around 11 p.m. Saturday Aimee Marie Dias, 35, said she walked into the women's restroom at SideBern's, 2208 Morrison Ave., and saw two people having "sexual relations."
They are identified in the report as George Anthony Hochschwender, a teacher at Tampa General Hospital, and Jodi Jacolow, 32, of Tampa. Dias is a lawyer.
According to Dias' account, she verbally confronted the pair before she was assaulted. "Ms. Dias said she and Ms. Jacolow went to the floor rolling around exchanging punches, pushes, etc.," the report states.
Hochschwender told police there was no sex, but that he "was upset and Ms. Jacolow was calming him as a result of a poor relationship." Hochschwender told police that Dias threw a punch at him, then the ensuing fight between the two women spilled out to the main bar floor.
Enter Brent Warren Yessin, 45, of Tampa.
According to the police report, Yessin (left) was waiting for a valet to return his car outside the restaurant. He persistently offered his services and even misrepresented himself to officers as an attorney for those involved.
Police arrested him for refusing to leave the restaurant. According to the report, Yessin resisted arrest, which required four officers to wrestle him to the ground. The bandage on his chin is a result of that action.
Reached by phone, Yessin declined to comment. He was held for four hours on $1,000 bail at the Orient Road Jail on charges of obstructing an officer without violence.
Initially, Dias and Jacolow were arrested on battery charges, but both agreed to drop the charges.
Hochschwender and Jacolow could not be reached for comment. Dias declined comment.

What was a man doing in the "ladies" restroom in the first place? Money does not buy morality. Wonder if the same thing would have brought the same kind of attention if it had occured in a "downscale" restaurant.

Google "Jodi Jacolow" and you can see her picture... She's hot. I'd try and get her in the bathroom too.

Well...she's ok. Maybe an acquired taste for some of us,based on her pic which admittedly might not be the most flattering she's ever had taken.
That guy Hochschwender evidently works for her; he's on her company website.
Soooo much drama with those South Tampa Yups....

I am so digging Jacolow...she goes from 'calming' to 'wildcat' in a flash... purrrrrrrr... she seems crazy dangerous, but what a turn-on!

This is why I know longer go to that establishment. The restrooms ARE NOT used for the intended purpose, I always feel like I am walking in on someone, no pun intended.

Am I missing something, or is there really a point to this story?

Based on someother things I've read, she might have some 'splainin' to do to someone else......

To Kris, I agree 100%, what a waste of reporting, maybe that reporter needs to reach their year end goal to recieve a bonus..........

what I said was this is a very odd story. I've never heard of someone being UNarrested. That is ridiculous.
Careers on the line, a guy offers to help them they let him get arrested.
last time i checked you can't agree to drop charges. Only the cops can do so or the sa if it goes that far.

This is so absurd. Why would they arrest two people and then allow them to drop charges? BULL !! I had a friend who TRIED to drop charges and even the State's Attorney's office would not do so.
You have to be on a certain list to be arrested or not in Stampa.
Someone doesn't like the poor atty. Someone owes someone else something.
It seems that most of these folks could afford their OWN bathrooms and/or tinted windows.
So unsanitary to take it to the loo.
EYEEWWW. Must be the anal-retentive stage.
I agree this story is missing something or something's up.

have these people ever heard of going home or behind tinted windows? Disgusting.
Must still be in the anal-retentive stage.
lord, don't encourage them.
