FORT DESOTO -- A driver who had a seizure while driving on the Pinellas Bayway on Friday evening accidentally veered a 2006 Mercedes sedan off the road and into the waters of Fort DeSoto Park, authorities say.

Sand Key Bridge reopened after accident

CLEARWATER -- The Sand Key Bridge was reopened early this morning after being temporarily shut down while emergency crews worked an accident on the bridge, according to Clearwater police.

Dade City gunshot victim identified

Dade City police have identified the victim of this morning's shooting. He is Thomas William Flannery, 46, of 4447 Seaberg Road in Zephyrhills. No other information was made available.
