20-year-old accused of third DUI

A 20-year-old former Hillsborough Community College student is in jail again today, facing a charge of driving under the influence - his third DUI in 17 months.

Joseph O'Riordan was arrested late Wednesday after officers saw him lose control of the silver Mustang he was driving at 50th Street and Broadway Avenue in Tampa and ram into a parked car. A police officer noted that O'Riordan, of Tampa, slurred his speech, stumbled while standing and smelled of alcohol. Police said O'Riordan refused to take a Breathalyzer test for the second time.

Officers found a glass pipe they said was coated with marijuana residue, a half-empty bottle of Captain Morgan's rum and three shot glasses in the vehicle. O'Riordan faces 11 charges, including drug possession, giving a false name to police, driving without a license and giving alcohol to minors.

Why is this kids parents not in jail? He is 20 not 21. He goes to college? Who pays the tuition - Grants? If so, they should be revoked. I dont want to pay for this drunk to go to school!!
