Student says she took drugs from parents

ZEPHYRHILLS -- A 15-year-old student at Zephyrhills High School was arrested Friday on charges of bringing drugs to school, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the girl had a bottle of pills, which were identified as Xanax, Fexofenadine and Methadone. She told officers she got the Methadone from her parents’ medicine cabinet.
None of the pills were prescribed to her, according to an arrest report.

The girl, who lives in Zephyrhills, was placed under arrest and taken to the Zephyrhills Police Department. She was released to her parents.

just what we need. Parents don't have enough sense to lock up or hide that kind of narcotic

Well her parents must be in rehab for heroin thats why they prescibe methadone

Bobcat - methadone is often prescribed for severe pain.
