Nick Bollea can drive again -- for business only
Last May, a Pinellas judge ordered Nick Bollea's license revoked for three years, but now the celebrity son of Hulk Hogan is allowed to get behind the wheel again.
Bollea, 18, received a business-purposes-only driver's license Friday, according to Ann Nucatola, spokeswoman for the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
Bollea was sentenced to eight months in jail after pleading no contest in May to a felony charge of reckless driving. The charge resulted from a car crash in August 2007 in which Bollea's passenger, John Graziano, was severely injured.
Bollea and his parents are being sued on behalf of Graziano to help pay for lifelong medical expenses.

Like he works?! I'm shocked by this. I have no ill will against him, but now he is manipulating with the law....not a good life lesson.

just give him time. We will all be reading about how he was stopped at 2 am sooner or later. And how the job he was leaving was alcohol taste testing at a bar. Use to really like the hul, but since this i can't stand him for shunning the kid his son destroyed for life. And making it sound like it was the kids fault for being with him. Hope ya go broke Hulk

ditto, like he works. He'll be saying he is "self employed" or something along those lines and be driving all the time.

This whole family is one big joke........

He should have lost his license until he is 21. We need to make laws to insure that the victims are protected. He should have to prove he deserves the right to drive again. Many hours of community service like speaking at every high in the United States. Then maybe we should allow him one back. Driving is a privilege we over time think it is your rights. How many break the law on a daily basis and could care less. We need to enforce the laws we have already. He probably learned by watching alot disreguarding the laws. He just got caught.

Goes to show you a judge can be bought and a court is only as good as the law it provides. questions: Where does the little punk work and what hours. What is the distance he drives and who is he placing in danger now? Is his probation officer paid off also? The big one how much does a JUDGE COST THESE DAYS? And when he is caught breaking this work only permit which hand does the judge slap? The young Marine he paralized John Gaziano does he recieve a permit to have his life back before this spoiled mommies boy ruined his and his families life forever. Money talks and little punks walk so much for equal justice for all.As for Terry Bollea respect for you is gone also. Have your son man up join the marines and take his panties off and the nypple out of his mouth.

What a sad day for others on the road. When did this punk become "employed"? He should lose his license for LIFE. He is a disrespectful hotrod. he does not deserve to drive.

What judge did this? Voters need to know. And what is his job? How was work related defined?
Posted by: Kathleen20001 | Monday, February 02, 2009 at 05:24 PM
This is an outrage! The boy CAN afford a driver...please!
Maybe he will be making some money for his friend John's care?

What "business" could this douche possibly have? BIG mistake granting this action so soon. What is the name of the judge?
Posted by: BL | Monday, February 02, 2009 at 07:54 PM
You people are missing the point. The major point isn't that this idiot is allowed to drive for business reasons, it's that some company out there will hire him when there are a lot of us out of work and easily more qualified to do a litany of things this fool couldn't do. THAT is the story!
Posted by: Rob | Monday, February 02, 2009 at 07:58 PM
Why isn't the judge named? We voters have the right to know.
What constitutes business? Driving to a job? What a joke!
White trash with money is still white trash.

How in the name of God can our court system allow this punk kid to get behind the wheel of a car again? I guess it's going to take him actually killing someone to put him behind bars for good. They should have let him set an rot in jail for what the did to his 'so called' friend. I'm sure glad I don't have any friends like him! But what goes around comes around and that spoiled kid has a LOT to come around yet. I hope I live long enough to see that happen. I guess if your dad has lots of money it gets you a 'get out of jail' free card. Shame on you Hulk! See what kind of kid you have created? I'd be pretty ashamed of him if he were my child. But then look at how your daughter has turned out. Spare the rod spoil the child sure fits your parenting. Only God above can help you and your children now.

Money.....! Money....! Money.....! If you have it you can walk out on any charge and DRIVE away. Nice JUSTICE SYSTEM in Pinellas County. The Judge is a BIG Fan of the Hulkester I bet!
Posted by: Bro Cholo | Monday, February 02, 2009 at 09:51 PM
he just had to apply to the DMV for a 'business purposes only' license. The restriction is printed on the license. Yep he can pretty much make anything up. I'm not sure if the judge can do anything but I DO know that a judge has nothing to do with him getting this approved.
I'm not sure of the jurisdiction but someone having a license to drive falls under the DMV. Now he can be a Tampa fireman.

No judge was involved. It is an administrative option by Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

Nicky Zoo
Yes, these kids are so zoo sheltered they can't survive in the wild. Maybe his sister will go with him. They will be back, they have to have the protection of mommy and daddy.
