St. Petersburg man charged with slamming roommate's hand in dresser drawer

ST. PETERSBURG -- A man slammed his roommate's hand in a dresser drawer and punched her in the face "several times," police said.

Mcgill Joe Christopher McGill, 34, of 1738 Granville Court S, was arrested on charges of felony battery and is being held in lieu of $5,000 bail in the Pinellas County Jail.

dang, brother move over to our hood. You can OUTRIGHT SHOOT AT PEOPLE WALKING THEIR DOG and have NO PROBLEM> Not even if they go downtown to file for injunctive protection against you. Apparently shooting at someone is not one of those things that TAMPA JUDGES AND THEIR CORRUPT PEOPLE IN THE TAMPA STATE'S ATTORNEY'S OFFICE feel is abusive. It's fine, man... it's just a little shooting. One-sided and all.
So ... anyway ...
it's possible that the dark red haired lady (have her card around here somewhere) shuffled stuff or advocated against it with the judge.
But that's to be expected.
Your problem is you do not OWN the state's attorney's office by proxy.
Or you coulda got away with this, I bet.

Windowsugar, what are you talking about??????

I bet his wallet was in that drawer!

Chris Brown, OJ Simpson....lol Culling of the herd.

Northside Girl...windowsugar's comments often don't pertain to story and often don't make sense and I'm not sure of my selection of "often".

Jackie I hope that you are not following me aruond online disparaging my reputation. Because you asked me a question once and I addressed it civilly and thorougly. OF COURSE my comments pertain to the story and I'm not sure if you are the comment police or just an interested bystander? At any rate, you and I have no issues. If I want to give this gentleman advice on a neighborhood to live in where he can slam all the drawers he would like and hands in or out and even shoot at people if he like and never mess around wearing handcuffs that's my business. The way the state's attorney's office gets away with selective prosecution and selective GRANTING OF INJUNCTIONS FOR PROTECTION is due to the silence of the people WHOM BY THE WAY allegedly voted these people into office.
I promise not to follow you around explaining your point if you have one and you promise to do the same for me.
If I have one.
I'm trying to be considerate and civil as usual but this is not the first time you have disparaged my comments.
This is not a forum where anyone decides what the slant on the subject is for each reader.
Maybe you and I have different experiences to share.
I certainly encourage you to share yours.
And to maintain your civility with the other posters.
Thank you so much.

people are funny..lol

yes they are ... lol. LOL.

It's like yall took ethics and said OMG we gotta avoid THOSE at ALL COST.
