St. Petersburg woman ignores gun threat, bites would-be robber
ST. PETERSBURG -- A would-be snatch-and-grab thief came out empty-handed after trying to rob a 75-year-old woman Monday.
Marcie Rae Lee had slid behind the wheel of her car after shopping at the Publix on 34th Street N when a woman described by police as black, 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 6 and about 135 pounds approached her demanding the money in her hand.
The suspect implied she had a gun, police said, but Lee refused to hand over her cash. When the robber reached in and tried to snatch it, Lee chomped down on her forearm. The suspect fled in a red SUV.
“It was a big bite,” St. Petersburg police spokesman George Kajtsa said. “There was blood all over the place.”

I sure hope they have the woman with the bite mark on her forearm on camera, they have security there.

Robbing 75 year olds now makes them feel like big people. I hope her arm gets gangrene and needs to be cut off.

Wow. She bit into the arm of someone she didn't know, who threatened her life and easily could've killed her, and probably only had a couple of bucks in her hand. And now she has to get an AIDS test. Yeah, that was real smart.

Put some mace in your car so they're blinded long enough for you to run over them. Their accomplice needs to be caught, assuming there was one waiting in the SUV. Story isn't clear about that small detail. Video is everywhere. They'll be caught!
