Tampa woman in serious condition after SUV spins, flips near I-4
TAMPA -- A 40-year-old Tampa woman is in serious condition this morning after she was ejected from her SUV on Hillsborough Avenue, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Gigi Laneda Bratcher, 40, was driving a 1995 Isuzu westbound across the Interstate 4 overpass when she lost control about 12:45 a.m., a crash report states. Her SUV drove over the grassy median and the I-4 exit ramp before smashing into a barrier wall, spinning a half turn and flipping. Bratcher was thrown through her windshield and onto the I-4 shoulder.
Bratcher remains at Tampa General Hospital this morning. The crash was not alcohol-related, a trooper wrote.

If the accident was not alcohol related, why was her BAC approximately .2% and was positive for drugs???
