Arson suspected in fire at vacant Palm Harbor house

PALM HARBOR - Arson detectives are investigating the cause of a fire in a vacant house at 3624 Fisher Road last night.

The 3,000-square-foot home, owned by Charles and Laurie Huber, had been vacant for about three months, said Elizabeth Monforti, public information officer for the department.

No one was inside when the fire occurred around 10:15 p.m. and there were no injuries, Monforti said. Neighbors alerted officials to the blaze.
