Linda Bollea brings hired muscle to courthouse

CLEARWATER - A judge declined Monday to rule on whether certain business associates of Terry Bollea, better known as wrestler Hulk Hogan, should be compelled to give testimony regarding their joint business ventures in Bollea's divorce case.

Linda Bollea's attorney, Ray Rafool, claimed that Terry Bollea was hiding marital assets by transferring them to several out-of-state companies, for which Terry Bollea is the principal owner.

"This is a loop of trying to keep his income within these corporations away from my client," Rafool said.

But Circuit Judge George Greer said he failed to see the deception considering that Terry Bollea had acknowledged his stake in the companies in depositions.

"How is he hiding assets if you know all about them?" Greer said, eliciting some chuckles in the courtroom.

Greer said he would consider the issue and make a ruling at a later date.

Both parties agreed to attend one or two hearings on Saturdays in June to discuss a motion filed by Terry Bollea's lawyers that asks for a reduction in Linda's $40,000 a month support payments. His lawyers also said they were not prepared to discuss a request to free up some funds for Linda Bollea's attorneys fees. Both matters may be discussed in the June hearings.

Two bodyguards sat behind Linda Bollea and escorted her to the parking lot after the hearing. She said Terry Bollea was a person with "a lot of rage, a lot of jealousy" and that she feared for her life since hearing comments that he made in a recent issue of Rolling Stone magazine, in which he was quoted as saying he understands O.J. Simpson.

Terry Bollea urged people to read the entire article before judging. His attorney, David Houston, said his client used a poor choice of words, but that Linda Bollea was blowing the issue out of proportion to "garner sympathy."

"Linda Bollea is involved in a lot of theater," he said.

Ms. Bollea is realizing that when the divorce papers are signed, money or no, her 5 mins of fame will be over. Her actions are that of a desperate woman who craves attention at any cost. This case serves as a prime example why our courts should charge a 20% fee on all marital assets in excess of $1 million if the divorcing parties force our courts to determine who gets what.

If these rich idiots can't settle their marital estates out-of-court, why should our courts expend so much taxpayers' money doing it for them?

During his last divorce his ex ended up living in their 6,000 sq ft, 7 bedroom home on 5 acres with her new boyfriend. He had to pay the mortgage, alimony, and child support for their 3 children (who lived full time with her mother, not her). He ended up living in an 18 ft. travel trailer on the property behind the place he worked courtesy of his boss. She had the nerve to take him to court and claim the travel trailer amounted to unclaimed compensation. The judge awarded her an increase in her alimony. "financially raping her ex-husband" you have no idea. At least the Hulk has $$$, cars, and a home of his own - for now.
