Rapper Bubba Sparxxx arrested in Clearwater

CLEARWATER -- Popular Southern rapper Bubba Sparxxx was arrested earlier this week on a felony narcotics charge.

Bubbasparxxx Sparxxx, whose real name is Warren Anderson Mathis, is best known for his 2006 hit single Ms. New Booty, which was a top 10 hit in the U.S. on the Billboard Hot 100. His other popular titles include Back in the Mud, Ugly and Deliverance.

Sparxxx, 32, lives in Clearwater.

He was raised in rural Georgia and “burst onto the scene in 2001 wearing overalls and driving a tractor in the video for Ugly,” his official Web site says.

According to Clearwater police, an off-duty officer witnessed another suspect pass Sparxxx the narcotic Tranxene at 2800 Gulf to Bay Blvd., the address of a Hooters restaurant, Sunday night. Sparxxx agreed to a search and the items were found in his wallet, authorities say.

He faces one charge of possession of a controlled substance. Sparxxx posted $2,000 bail Monday.

Hip Hopper on drugs? That's a new one.

Great, now he can add a felony and a little prison time to his Bio. It's every rapper's dream. That should increase his net worth and extend his career. He'll make his manager proud.

"Now Im back in the mud again"

Please don't take him from us.

We have already lost Beethoven, Mozart
and the rest of legends of music.

What will we ever do? Sob Sob

Sad...Inappropriate, and untrue. The illegal drugs brought into this country come in on planes owned by white people. The labs that manufacture/distribute Tranxene are also owned by whom? You guessed it, white people. Seems he was acting like any average white person in the Tampa Bay area. Never encountered so many dope fiends until I relocated here. Therefore, no surprise you're willing to work for peanuts. Guess you just need enough income to purchase the pills and powder you seem to delight in snorting and popping between cigarettes. Can't blame this one on rap, hip hop, or blacks. This idiot's home grown. Give up on the "blame the negro" defense. Claim it. Own it. Don't be ashamed; he's only doing what rock n' rollers and metal heads do best with their time. Beethoven and Liberace lovers, too. Noone is exempt. ROFLMFAOOOOOOO!!!!!

You all are Idiot he wont get any jail timemuch less go to prison. If they put every person who caught a felony in prison their would bo more people in prison than on the street. 3 years probation early termination upon completion.
p.s Maybe you all should go to prison for no common sense or any street smarts

Maybe Cope should check into one of these prisons.

I hear they have a remedial English and
writing class there.

There may be a woman's
wing for FLLady also.
