80-year-old missing man found

The 80-year-old dementia sufferer who went missing from his Boynton Beach apartment Wednesday morning was found by the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department that afternoon.

Daniel McDyer went missing at about 7 a.m. at the family's apartment. He left in the family's beige 2000 Plymouth Voyager minivan, spurring a statewide Silver Alert.

Boynton Beach is in Broward County on the southeast Florida coast.

Missing Boynton Beach man found

Hall_william The 86-year-old man man who went missing from Boynton Beach was found earlier this morning in Doral. A Silver Alert had been released when the man, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, drove away from a doctor's office in his wife's car Tuesday morning.

William Thomas Hall, 4742 Storkwood Road, Apt. A, (pictured) was found at about 7:30 a.m. wandering around outside a Miami-Dade corrections facility, according to Silver Alert of Florida. He is not injured and arrangements have been made to return him home.

Hall drove away from the doctor's office at about 8:30 a.m. in his wife's beige 2005 four-door Hyundai sedan. His wife told police she only lets her husband drive when she's with him in the car. He left while she was in the waiting room.
