Meet Chris Denman

Spt_jrw_denman_block

Position: Offensive tackle.

Height: 6-6.

Weight: 315.

College: Fresno State.

Highlights/stats: A former walkon, Denman started the final 43 straight games of his career at right tackle.

The verdict: Unheralded but consistent, Denman will be called upon by the Bucs to add much-needed depth at the tackle position behind 2006 rookie starter Jeremy Trueblood. He is a better pass blocker than run blocker.

I come from the same town and school as Chris does and am very happy to hear he has made it to the NFL. I am sure the entire alumi of Tehachapi High in Tehachapi, CA are very happy for him. Although I don't know him personally I play football under Chris' father in the late 80's / early 90's.

Good job Chris.

If Denman's football is as bad as your spelling, then we have a problem. Learn to spell before you post on the St. Petersburg Times message boards.

Give me a break, who cares about typos, I clearly got what he was saying, which he was giving props to Chris Denman, who I think has a decent shot at making the club, definately a project though.

TEHACHAPI CALIFORNIA in the house.... We grow them big here and kids grow up with a good work ethic. Cris will make the team and will see playing time. To call him a project is quite the stretch. He made the Hula Bowl and played as a member of the top rated offense in the nation. Sit back and watch as Chris makes his mark during his first or second season. Once he gets that shot, he will be a regular contributor to the Bucs organization. PROPS TO ANOTHER TEHACHAPI HIGH GRADUATE FOR MAKING IT TO THE NFL.....
