Moore moves to the booth
Dave Moore's playing career is over after 15 NFL seasons, but he won't be going far. The former Bucs tight end and longsnapper will take over as the color commentator on Bucs' radio broadcasts with play-by-play man Gene Deckerhoff. The radio opportunity helped make Moore's decision to retire rather than play a 16th season, he said.

What a first class person Dave is. He's a great family man, a true witness to his faith and a great member of the community. And he was a pretty good player too. Chalk one up for the good guys!

Finally, an example of a Buccaneer icon knowing when to say when .

Congrats to Dave Moore! I always liked the guy. He was a great team player and an all around nice guy.It is so great to see a guy spend his career in a town both professionally and personally. Now we get to enjoy him with Deckerhoff. He is truly a Buc and this is one Buc fan who really appreciates what he has done for us as a player and a person. And he is a great fisherman! Good luck Dave!
